Tens of thousands at climate protest before parliamentary elections in the Netherlands

The Hague – A few days before the early parliamentary elections in the Netherlands, tens of thousands of people demonstrated in The Hague on Sunday against neglect of climate policy. The demonstrators marched through the city with placards with the words “The planet deserves your vote” or “Vote Green.” According to organizers, about 45,000 people took part in the protest.
