Former national president of , Carlos Siqueira says that the attack made by the governor of Rio de Janeiro, Cláudio Castro (PL), on the call is an attempt to camouflage the failure of his administration in combating the action of factions in the state.
The action was proposed by the party to the Federal Supreme Court in 2020, when Siqueira commanded it. He currently presides over the João Mangabeira Foundation, linked to the party.
“Governor Cláudio Castro, with this attack on the PSB, is trying to hide his government’s incompetence in dealing with and repressing organized crime,” he told the Panel.
According to Siqueira, “the people of the state of Rio will respond and judge the lack of effective initiatives from their government next year.”
