Procedure:

Boil the potatoes until soft and mash them with butter and milk into a soft mash. Cut the leek into rounds and slowly sauté it in butter until soft. Mix it into the potato mixture. Hard-boil the eggs, cut them in half and place them on the bottom of the baking dish. Cover them with the potato-leek mixture.

Prepare a light soup in butter, pour milk over it and stir until thickened. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg, then stir in most of the cheese. Pour the sauce over the potato layer, sprinkle with the rest of the cheese and bake in the oven at 190°C for about 20 minutes until the surface turns golden.
