This Wednesday, the United States carried out a test with a nuclear-capable intercontinental ballistic missile, the Air Force Global Strike Command announced.
According to the statement, the missile was fired from the Vandenberg base, in California, in a test called GT 254.
The Minuteman III can travel a distance of 10 thousand kilometers and is capable of reaching a speed of 24 thousand kilometers per hour.
The objective was to evaluate the reliability of this missile, as well as its operational readiness and effectiveness, as it is one of the most relevant weapons in the North American arsenal.
