A 13-year-old student was stabbed by a 16-year-old classmate on Monday afternoon (10), inside a state school in the Residencial Conjunto São José neighborhood, in Rondonópolis, about 215 km from Cuiabá. Another student, aged 15, was also injured when trying to stop the attack.

According to information obtained, the teenager claimed to be a victim of bullying and decided to take revenge by stabbing his classmate with a knife. The girl was hit in the lung, groin and abdomen. She received care from the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) and was taken to a hospital, where she remains hospitalized in stable condition.
The attacker was apprehended at the scene and taken to the city police station. The circumstances of the case will be investigated by the Civil Police.
