In the traffic accident that happened in the early evening of Monday (November 10) on road II. class between Poprad and Starý Smokovec, one woman was seriously injured. The regional police spokeswoman from Prešov, Jana Ligdayová, confirmed for TASR that there was a collision between two passenger vehicles.
“Both drivers, a 19-year-old woman and a 60-year-old man, were breathalyzed on the spot, the results were negative. According to the preliminary medical report, the 59-year-old female passenger was seriously injured. The drivers suffered minor injuries. During the traffic accident, traffic signs were also damaged,” said Ligdayová.
Authorized member of the District Traffic Inspectorate in Poprad finds out the exact cause of the traffic accident, as well as the degree of culpability of its participants.
