The president of the Chamber, (Republicanos-PB), gives an interview to journalists this Tuesday (11.nov.2025) about the legal framework for combating organized crime and also known as the PL Antifaction.
Earlier, Motta postponed the vote on the project due to lack of agreement between leaders. A new opinion from the proposal’s rapporteur, the deputy (PP-SP), should be published by the end of the afternoon, with updated excerpts.
The text must be voted on on Wednesday (Nov 12) at Casa Baixa. Motta will meet with the Minister of Justice and Public Security, Ricardo Lewandowski, to align with the Executive the sections that are “non-negotiable”. According to the leader of the Government in the House, (PT-CE), the priority is unanimous approval.
