Vienna – Brigitte Hilzensauer and Relja Dražic receive the State Prize for literary translation, each worth 15,000 euros. This was announced on Monday by Culture Minister Andreas Babler (SPÖ). The award ceremony will take place on June 29, 2026 in the Literaturhaus Vienna. In addition, 51 domestic and foreign translators were awarded prizes for outstanding literary translations totaling 84,000 euros.
