In addition to Gates, TerraPower is financially supported by major international investors such as South Korea’s SK Group, NVIDIA’s investment arm (NVentures), HD Hyundai, as well as the US Department of Energy through the Advanced Reactor Promotion and Demonstration Program (ARDP).

Although Gates’ role was instrumental in the company’s creation and remains central, TerraPower’s structure also includes other private investors and corporate structures.
