Rome – Italy has called for the release of two Italian pro-Palestinian activists held in eastern Libya. According to the Italian Foreign Ministry, Italian Consul Filippo Colombo lobbied the authorities in Benghazi for the release of the two citizens and also requested permission to visit them.
