World Cup games will be broadcast outdoors on Albufeira Terrace

Albufeira Terrace will transform its panoramic terrace into a fan zone dedicated to the 2026 FIFA World Cup, providing visitors with the possibility of following the main moments of the competition in an open-air environment with views of the sea.

The initiative, called “Mundial 2026 no Terraço”, takes place between June 11th and July 19th and promises to bring together residents and tourists around the biggest football event on the planet. For more than a month, the space will host game broadcasts, entertainment activities and various proposals aimed at different age groups.

Games, gaming and trading stickers liven up programming

Matches starting at 9pm will be broadcast live on the shopping center’s terrace, while the rest can be watched delayed the following day, allowing visitors to follow the main moments of the competition.

In addition to game broadcasts, the program includes a games area with foosball and PlayStation consoles, a themed space for photos, inflatable toys for children and an area dedicated to exchanging World Cup stickers, an activity that continues to mobilize fans from different generations.

Among the most anticipated moments are the National Team games, with emphasis on the meetings against Congo, scheduled for June 17th, and Uzbekistan, scheduled for June 23rd, both scheduled to be broadcast at 6:00 pm.

With this initiative, the aim is to reinforce “its focus on creating differentiating experiences and moments of outdoor leisure, continuing to boost the terrace as a meeting point for residents and tourists”.
