You wouldn’t recognize Baby from Sinful Dance today: Oh, how she looks at 65! PHOTO

American actress Jennifer Grey (65), who was remembered by audiences around the world as Frances “Baby” Houseman in the cult hit Sinful Dance, appeared in public after years. She looked extremely fresh and stylish at the recent celebration of producer Cindy Eckert’s new documentary in Beverly Hills. At the event, she also met her colleague Jenni Garth and model Bijou Phillips, the newspaper writes.

Jennifer Gray was one of the prominent young stars of Hollywood in the 80s. She became known for her roles in the films Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, The Red Storm and The Cotton Club. The peak of her career came with Sinful Dance, where she met Patrick Swayze for the second time on the set.

The actress grew up in New York in an artistic family. She studied at the Dalton School and later at the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre. Already at the age of 19, she appeared in an advertisement for the drink Dr. Pepper and soon after started getting film roles.

In the 1990s, she underwent rhinoplasty (surgery to change the shape of her nose), which she later described as a turning point when she lost her signature look. “I went into the operating room as a celebrity, I came out as an anonymous person,” she said years ago. Despite this, she stayed in show business.

In 2010, she won Dancing With the Stars (similar to Let’s Dance) alongside professional dancer Derek Hough. She appeared in television projects such as Bling Ring or Red Oaks and continues her career even after sixty. In a recent interview, she admitted that it took discipline and a willingness to improve her craft to come back. “The more prepared and confident you are, the better your chances of survival,” she said.

Gray had several famous partners in the past – she dated Matthew Broderick, Michael J. Fox, Johnny Depp and William Baldwin. In 1987, she and Broderick survived a car accident in Northern Ireland in which two women died. The actress later admitted that she struggled with survivor’s guilt.

In 2001, she married actor and director Clark Gregg, with whom she has a daughter, Stella (24). The marriage ended in divorce 20 years later. Even at the age of 65, Jennifer Gray remains a prominent figure in the film world, and her latest public appearance once again confirmed that charisma and the so-called she hasn’t lost her “star power”.
