The water level of the Iaco River, in Sena Madureira, showed signs of low water between yesterday and today. This Monday (22) the ruler dawned measuring 8.70 meters, well below the alert level of 14 meters.

In recent days, rainfall has been intense in the region, with the rate already exceeding 9 meters. The current scenario favors trips made by boats, but extra care must be taken to avoid flooding.
According to civil defense data, the biggest concern generally occurs in the months of January and February when the volume of rain increases considerably.
In Sena Madureira, hundreds of families live in flooded areas. When the water level exceeds the warning level (14 meters), many residents are affected and have to leave their homes.
