Transformation station burns again and leaves streets in Bragança without electricity

This is the second fire in the same location in less than a month, after the first occurred on December 17th. E-redes was on site and the power was quickly restored, according to the Bragança fire commander.

The transformation station that burned down, less than a month ago, in Bragança and left part of the city without electricity, burned again this Tuesday, at the end of the day.

The Bragança fire commander, Carlos Martins, told Lusa that the station, located on Avenida Sá Carneiro, burned again, leaving part of this avenue and also Avenida Abade Baçal without light.

The same source assured that the light was restored “quickly”.

Once again, E-redes was on site to resolve the problem.

This is the second time that the transformation station has burned down. The same happened on December 17th, leaving several streets in darkness, such as Avenida Sá Carneiro, Rua Sancho I, part of Rua do Loreto and also the Cocha neighborhood.
