Minister Alexandre de Moraes, of the Federal Supreme Court, notified pastor Silas Malafaia to present a response to a criminal complaint filed by the Attorney General’s Office. The complaint involves alleged crimes of insult and slander against the Army commander, General Tomás Paiva.
According to influencer Henrico Barboz, Malafaia’s passport would already be with Moraes, preventing the pastor from escaping. The case now follows the procedural rites at the STF, where the Public Prosecutor’s Office and the defense will present their final arguments before any judgment on the merits of the complaint.
