Athlete claims that his grandmother’s demand that he appear without a lawyer would bring legal uncertainty and raises suspicions about an alleged media ‘trap’
Goalkeeper Bruno announced, this Thursday (15), the cancellation of the scheduled meeting with his son, Bruninho Samudio, aged 15. According to the statement released by the athlete, the decision not to attend was motivated by conditions imposed by the teenager’s maternal grandmother and guardian, which would have required the father to go to the visit alone.
Bruno claimed that prohibiting the presence of his lawyer would compromise his legal security. The player cited the existence of a protective measure that prevents him from approaching his son, arguing that monitoring his defense would be essential to guarantee the legality of the act and respect for current court orders.
In addition to the legal issues, the athlete classified the situation as a possible “trap”. In his note, Bruno suggested the involvement of a reporter and the use of hidden cameras at the location, with the supposed intention of capturing statements about the subject for a documentary. “If I had at least my lawyer by my side, I would have more confidence in this meeting”, he declared.
Despite the cancellation, the goalkeeper reiterated his desire to spend time with his son. “I really want to be able to hug him and talk. I remain at his disposal to make this meeting happen”, he stated.
