Greenland crisis: Debate in Germany about boycotting the World Cup in the USA

Vienna/Berlin – The US threats against Greenland have sparked a debate, especially in Germany, about a possible boycott of the World Cup in the United States. This has not yet met with approval in Austria. In response to a request from the APA, the Federal Chancellery said “that it is vehemently opposed to the politicization of art and culture, music or sport and is firmly opposed to cancel culture.”
