Journalist and professor Suene Almeida, 31 years old, takes on the role of editor-in-chief of the website ContilNet starting this Monday (2), with the mission of coordinating journalistic production and strengthening the editorial line of one of the largest news portals in Acre.
With a trajectory that moves between education, institutional communication and political journalism, Suene brings a diverse and technical perspective to the new phase of ContilNet.

Graduated in Journalism from the Federal University of Acre (Ufac) – with professional registration DRT 584/AC – and also graduated in Spanish Literature, Suene worked as a teacher in the public school system between 2014 and 2018.
In journalism, he built his base with stints at TV Diocese and Sistema OCB/Sescoop, in addition to having worked as a reporter for other local media outlets.
In Acre, he signed the production of content for significant names in regional politics, such as former deputy Flaviano Melo and candidate Fernando Zamora, in addition to having worked in communications for Rio Branco City Hall and in parliamentary advisory services at the City Council in 2023.
No ContilNetSuene began her journey in 2023 as a reporter, quickly standing out in general and political coverage. Technical recognition came in the form of awards: in 2024, it was the big winner of the 2nd Communication Award from the Government of Acre in the Web Video category and was a finalist for the prestigious Sebrae Journalism Award, state stage.

My trajectory in education and politics gave me the basis for understanding the plurality of Acre, and now, at the head of this team, my focus will be on enhancing impact journalism, maintaining technological innovation and the ethical commitment that our readers demand and deserve”, declared Suene Almeida.
