Coamo, from Paraná, one of the main agricultural cooperatives in the country, opened two new grain receiving units in Mato Grosso do Sul, with a total investment of more than R$191 million.
The structures are located in the district of Itahum, in Dourados, and in the municipality of Amambai, and aim to expand logistics and service capacity for members in the region.
The units include hoppers, bitrem tippers, 30-meter automated road scale, operational office with pre-classification, 200 ton per hour dryer, bag filter, chip deposit and machine room with cleaning, threshing and grain transport systems. The complex has three lung silos and four storage silos with a capacity of 170 thousand bags each, totaling 43.6 thousand tons of static capacity in each of them.
