A search and seizure warrant was carried out at the home of the governor of Acre, Gladson Cameli (PP), this Thursday (5).
According to the governor, the agents were seeking information about a complaint related to the evaluation process for obtaining a pilot registration at a local aviation school, where he was a student.
“With calm and transparency, I provided all the information requested. The police collected electronic devices and a sum of money, of private origin, which I kept as a financial reserve and the proof of which will be presented to the authorities”, he said in a statement.
The Federal Police said it will not comment on the case.
He also stated that he trusts the justice system and said he regrets what he classified as new attempts at persecution and political use of the case, with the aim of targeting him on the eve of the election period.
