Of those, 576 have been killed since the ceasefire came into effect more than two years ago.
The number of Palestinians killed by Israel Defense Forces (IDF) attacks since the country began its offensive against the enclave in October 2023 now reaches 72,027as reported this Saturday (7) by the local Ministry of Health.
Of these, 576 – including more than 115 minors and women – have been killed since the ceasefire came into force in Gaza on October 10 last year, under an agreement promoted by the United States.
Two of them, in fact, died this Friday (6) in Israeli bombings against the north and center of the Gaza Strip, and more than 20 were injuredaccording to the daily balance of the Ministry of Health.
Furthermore, in these more than three months of supposed ceasefire, Israeli bombings have left more than 1,500 Gazans injured.
Israeli troops, who still control more than 50% of the Strip since October, opened fire practically every day against a devastated Gaza, under the pretext that they are attacks against Hamas “suspects or terrorists”.
This Saturday, a Palestinian identified as Faraj al-Hajj Salem died after being shot by Israeli troops east of the city of Gaza, according to the “Wafa” news agency.
