She consequently calls being his press secretary the “coolest job you could wish for.” A job, however, that knows no space: permanent availability, days without a break, nights without sleep, a life in a 24/7 cycle. Leavitt, 28 years old and mother of a small child, speaks of post-traumatic stress disorder – triggered by repeated cancellations of family vacations. Still, she doesn’t think about retreating.
