A school day without assistance. This is unthinkable for many children with certain disabilities. So-called school assistants support the children with tasks and sometimes take on nursing tasks – thus enabling them to participate in lessons. But a major dispute has broken out in Styria in recent months over this important pillar of inclusive education.
