Salad with shrimps, avocado and yogurt and honey sauce. An idea for a healthy lunch or dinner

Shrimps are low-calorie products that also contain quite a lot of protein. Therefore, they will be a great base for dietary suggestions for lunch, dinner or dinner. You can add them, for example, to a salad. With the addition of avocado, salty feta cheese, and yogurt and honey dressing, they will taste delicious. Salad with shrimpand you can eat it alone or serve it with a crusty baguette.

To prepare this recipe, you will need:

  • 150 g blanched shrimps (frozen),
  • 4-5 cloves of garlic,
  • vegetable oil (for frying),
  • 1 avocado,
  • 150 g of feta cheese,
  • 200 g cherry tomatoes,
  • a handful of salad mix,
  • 1 tablespoon of chopped dill,
  • 100 g of natural yogurt,
  • ½ tablespoon of olive oil,
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice,
  • ½ teaspoon of honey,
  • salt, pepper (to taste).

Defrost the shrimp and pat dry with a paper towel. Heat the oil in a pan with the addition of thickly sliced ​​garlic cloves. Heat for a while, being careful not to burn the garlic (it’s supposed to add flavor to the oil). When the garlic starts to brown, remove it with a slotted spoon and fry the shrimp in oil. Don’t fry them too long so that they remain juicy and firm. After frying, place on a sheet of paper towel to absorb excess fat.

Cut the cheese into cubes. Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit and peel it. Also cut the flesh into cubes. Cut the cherry tomatoes into quarters or halves.

Combine the salad ingredients in a bowl – cooled shrimps, feta cheese, avocado and tomatoes, as well as the lettuce mix and dill.

In a separate bowl, mix the yogurt with olive oil, lemon juice and honey. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

Add the dressing to a bowl and mix with the salad ingredients. You can serve the salad immediately or after cooling it in the refrigerator.
