The Independent League of Samba Schools of São Paulo (Liga-SP) confirmed, this Friday (13), the punishment of Golden Roses after school failing to meet the deadline for submitting the jury folder for Carnival 2026.
In a note, the institution stated that the system, called Standardizewas created and validated with the help of all samba schools, to facilitate the standardization and delivery of technical folders, very detailed material about the parade that will be presented and which serves as a guide for the judges.
“The development of the system was monitored, validated, approved and tested by representatives of all Samba Schools affiliated to Liga-SP. The same system was made available to all Samba Schools, of the three groups, with the certainty that 31 associations completed, without any problem, the delivery of their folders”, he says.
Soon after, the Liga-SP highlighted: “Sociedade Rosas de Ouro did not meet the deadline set in the Official Regulations of the Special Carnival 206 group, regarding the delivery of the technical folders (Art.11), totaling 47, which should have been printed and delivered to the Headquarters by 11:59 pm on February 9th”.
“For this reason, and in strict compliance with art.18, item I, paragraph a, the school will be punished by 5 tenths (0.5 points). We are convinced that Rosas de Ouro will put on a brilliant show on the avenue, as will all the Schools that perform this Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Anhembi Sambadrome”, he concludes.
