It does not contain aggressive chemicals, unlike popular store preparations. So it’s safer for surfaces, the environment and your respiratory tract, and because contains citric acid, it copes really well with soap scum, light dirt and water scale.
Grapefruit has antifungal, degreasing and antibacterial properties, thanks to which helps reduce the growth of bacteria and fungi in a humid environment. This is due to the essential oil. It helps limit the growth of microorganisms and has a fresh citrus aroma.
You can clean the toilet with just grapefruit, but combining it with coarse salt will provide better results. Cut the fruit in half, sprinkle the pulp with spices and rub it on the inside of the toilet bowl to remove the sediment.
