Some products combine exceptional taste with impressive nutritional value. This Asian delicacy can support our body on many levels, and a warming dish based on it will be perfect especially on colder days. We show you how to prepare this tasty and healthy dish.

This product, although considered one of the best in the world, is still rarely found on Polish tables. However, it is worth changing it and making a delicious, warming soup from it. We’re talking about kimchi. It is fermented Chinese cabbage with a deep, sour taste.

It contains large amounts of probiotics, which supports intestinal function, improves digestion and strengthens the immune system. Additionally, it is rich in: vitamin A, B and C, which also have a beneficial effect on the body.

Kimchi soup is enriched with garlic, which makes it… it also has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. Therefore, it is worth preparing it at home to provide your body with a delicious portion of valuable nutrients.

Preparing kimchi is not complicated. However, before we start, we need to check whether we have all the necessary ingredients. Here is the list of products we need:

  • 350 g kimchi,
  • 1 onion,
  • 80 g mushrooms,
  • 1 liter of vegetable broth,
  • 200 g natural tofu,
  • 1 carrot,
  • 2 cloves of garlic,
  • 250 g raw pork,
  • 30 g of soy sauce,
  • 20 g of vegetable oil,
  • half a teaspoon of hot pepper powder.

Start preparing the soup by peeling the carrot and cutting it into thin sticks. Then we cut the onion into slices, peel the garlic and chop it finely, and cut the tofu into cubes.. In addition, we clean the mushrooms and cut them into slices.

Heat the oil in a large pot and add the onion and garlic. Fry over medium heat for about 3 minutes. Then add kimchi along with the liquid and mix thoroughly. We also add hot pepper and fry everything briefly. The next step is to pour the broth and bring it to a boil. Then we reduce the heat and cook the soup for about a quarter of an hour.

Meanwhile, cut the pork into small pieces. Add to the soup and cook for another 10-15 minutes. Add the carrots, mushrooms and tofu, mix everything and cook for another 5 minutes. Finally, add spices and soy sauce.
