Gil visited six prisons across the state to visit and investigate the conditions of those convicted of the coup acts.
To the Panel, the parliamentarian says that he was touched by the precarious infrastructure of prisons and the conditions to which inmates are subjected. In the Santana unit, among those accused of the attacks, was sentenced to 14 years in prison and had her house arrest revoked, in July 2025, by Moraes. Iraci allegedly failed to comply with the rules for using electronic ankle bracelets while under house arrest.
