“1984” as an argument: US judge orders restoration of slavery exhibition


Washington – A US judge has ordered the restoration of an outdoor exhibition in Philadelphia about the history of slavery in the US that was dismantled a few weeks ago. The US government does not have the authority to “conceal and distort historical truths,” said US Judge Cynthia M. Rufe’s ruling on Monday. The large city in the US state of Pennsylvania had filed a lawsuit against the dismantling of the exhibition.
