The European Commission already launched an investigation in January against X for the creation of sexualized images and nudity without consent through Grok, to determine whether the company complies with the obligations of European digital laws.
Brussels then informed that it will assess whether X has adequately examined and mitigated the risks associated with the implementation of Grok functions in the EU. This includes the possible distribution of illegal content, such as manipulated images that are sexually explicit and may even be considered child sexual abuse material.
