Rome – Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has reacted sharply to a court ruling that Italy must pay compensation to the German aid organization Sea-Watch, whose rescue ship Sea-Watch 3 was stranded in the port of Lampedusa in 2019. She was “speechless” after the Palermo court’s verdict, Meloni said in a video message on Wednesday evening.
