This Thursday (19th) the graduation ceremony of 25 official students of the corporation was held. The event took place at the General Command Barracks (QCG).
The graduation was attended by the general commander of PMAC, Marta Renata, the governor and vice-governor, as well as other authorities and families of the graduates.
The new officers spent two years training in the state of Minas Gerais and returned to Acre with the aim of taking up their positions.

The commander-general classified the moment as extremely important for the PMAC.
“It is the incorporation of new officers into the Military Police, after a two-year long course, which began in the state of Minas Gerais and ended here in our state. It is an incorporation focused on the command and management of the corporation, which demonstrates the state government’s commitment not only to improving physical facilities, but also to personnel management. Qualified and well-trained police officers and officers to incorporate and provide the best service in the Military Police”, he stated.

Governor Gladson Camelí said that investment in public security is one of the main objectives of his administration and that the moment is an example of this.
“It’s about increasing the number of officers, strengthening the entire structure of our police forces — and here I’m referring to the Military Police. There are 28 new officers who started the course in Belo Horizonte and completed it here, after a year. What I can tell you is that, if I remember correctly, it was the first time they took the course here. And to say that’s it, we have to reinforce all departments, as I’ve been saying, to reduce differences and bring the rule of law closer to the people”, concluded.
