Portuguese center Neemias Queta scored a ‘double double’ this Monday in the clear triumph achieved by the Boston Celtics against the Los Angeles Lakers (111-89), in Sunday’s round of the North American Basketball League ().

In 25.36 minutes of use, in his 53rd game of the season, Neemias, who continues as a starter, also recorded three blocks, two of them from LeBron James, and an assist, in a match in which he committed two ‘turnovers’ and one foul.
In the Boston team, the best was substitute Payton Pritchard, with 30 points, with 10 in 14 in ‘shots’ from the field, eight assists and four rebounds, followed by Jaylen Brown, with 32 points, eight rebounds and seven assists.

The 26-year-old Portuguese international center was selected by the Sacramento Kings in 39th position in the 2021 NBA draft, becoming the first Portuguese to play in the competition. It remains the only one.
