American influencer Gwen McMullen is rolling the Slovak internet. From an unknown person on the threshold of thirty, he became the most discussed person in Slovakia overnight. The Instagram star seemed to fall out of Prime Minister Robert Fico’s eye, which derailed even Gwen herself. “Now all the media is writing about me looking like some old guy. It’s all humiliating. But I’ll tell you one thing – it’s a great feeling to be globally famous.” she reviewed in one of the first videos, when she was investigating why people write to her in a foreign language.
However, she quickly “washed herself off”, grabbed unexpected fame by the scruff of the neck and declared herself the self-proclaimed queen of Slovakia. She even announced that she was going to visit her compatriots in Europe. So far, it has ended in one of the American cities with palm trees, which it fictitiously passes off as Bratislava. The story about Fico’s doppelganger from across the ocean hit social networks, and KDH head Milan Majerský, for example, caught on. “It would still be a better government than Fico’s“, he satirically commented on the influencer.
The Christian Democrat Majerský is not the only politician who was amused by the smiling image of Gwen McMullen with Robert Fico. We asked for an expert opinion from the most famous Slovak father, Boris Kollár, who, given his colorful love life, could also ring the doorbell of a sympathetic blonde with the same facial features. “It’s funny and you have to take it as entertainment. I was most amused by the video where they connected Fico and the lady from the rally, where she says: ‘I love Fico, you have to say that’ and the cut to their daughter, the American influencer.” The head of the Smer movement revealed the Kollár family.
The seventeen-times prominent parent takes generous care of all his children and, according to the newspaper, spends at least 50,000 euros a month on them. “Every person definitely has a doppelgänger somewhere in the world, remember that ‘speeded-up’ dancer who looked like Kali (Robert Kaliňák, editor’s note). I definitely have a similar person somewhere. Actually, I make my own copies.” stated the politician, who owes nothing to his humor and legendary passion for lifting women’s skirts.
Although Bonviván laughs with the whole nation at Fico’s clone, on the other hand he draws attention to an important fact. “It’s funny, you have to smile, but it shouldn’t be insidious. I would probably not mind that. But again, fun is fine, it just shouldn’t cross the line into dishonor. We should be careful about that.” he stood up for the gentler half of the world, a multi-father.
