Cristiano Ronaldo is already working to continue in football after his upcoming retirement. The 41-year-old Portuguese star acquired 25% of Almeríafrom Spain, and fulfilled his dream of owning a club.
The star of Al-Nassr and the Portuguese national team, who is looking for his 1,000th career goal, now is a partner at SMC Groupwho manages the team currently in third place in the access division in Spain – has 48 points, compared to 50 from leader Racing and 49 from Castellón.
Alméria himself announced the agreement on his social networks. “Cristiano Ronaldo invests in UD Almería as part of the club’s ownership consortium, led by Grupo SMC. Cristiano Ronaldo acquired 25% of the shares through CR7 Sports Investments, a subsidiary of CR7 SA, marking an important step in the continued expansion of both the club and the Portuguese businessman’s investment portfolio,” the club announced.
“This agreement is part of the international expansion of the entity being carried out by President Mohamed Al Khereiji through his business conglomerate, the SMC Group”, he added.
