The road between Senec and the village of Reca is impassable early Friday evening due to a traffic accident. There, two passenger cars collided head-on. The police informed about it on the social network. Rescuers transported both drivers with injuries to one of the Bratislava hospitals. The Fire and Rescue Service reported on the social network that one person was transported to the hospital by helicopter.
“The road is currently impassable in the given section due to the documentation and removal of the consequences of the traffic accident. For this reason, we urge drivers to be extra careful and to use alternative routes to drive through this section,” the police said.
Firefighters explained that after arriving at the scene, they carried out fire prevention measures on the vehicles and freed the trapped people from both cars. “Subsequently, in cooperation with the rescuers, they started providing first aid,” zoomed in. Firefighters from Senac were dispatched to the scene shortly after 4:20 p.m.
