FIND OUT MORE:
The accident reportedly occurred after the driver lost control of the vehicle, approximately 15 kilometers after passing through the municipality of Sena Madureira, on the way to the capital.
“The accident occurred around 9 pm and there were approximately 30 passengers on board,” the company reported. “As soon as Trans Acreana became aware of what happened, it sent a support team to the scene, providing immediate assistance to all passengers,” he added.
The injured passengers were taken to the Sena Madureira hospital for medical evaluation and released after initial care. However, two of them were sent to Rio Branco: a young woman, who had a fractured hand, and a man, who had back pain. Trans Acreana highlighted that both received specialized support.
The company’s operational manager, Francisco Mendes, was personally on site during the early hours of this Friday to closely monitor all the assistance provided. According to him, “the company maintains its absolute commitment to passenger care, guaranteeing fast, responsible and continuous support in situations like this. Our focus is to ensure that everyone is supported in the best way possible.”
“The company also informs that the insurance was immediately activated, guaranteeing full support for all necessary procedures. The service is being provided through the responsible broker, Navic Reis — contact: +55 11 96495-2416”, he highlighted in a note.
Finally, the company criticized the situation on BR-364, stating that current conditions pose serious risks to drivers:
“Trans Acreana also reinforces that BR-364, especially during the Amazon winter period, has sections that are severely damaged, which increases the risk of incidents and makes traffic difficult. Even in the face of these adverse conditions, the company highlights its permanent commitment to safety, full support for passengers and monitoring of all occurrences.”
