Iran claims to have attacked US military installations in several Gulf countries and launched a series of missiles at Israel, after the US and Israel began attacks on Iranian military and government targets on Saturday morning local time.
The sound of the explosions reverberated in several countries in the region, as anti-missile defense systems were activated to intercept the approaching missiles.
According to Nour News, a news agency linked to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Iran launched “dozens” of Israel. There are no reports of victims.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) stated that, in Qatarto Al-Salem Air Base, no Kuwait, to Al-Dhafra Air Base, we United Arab Emirates, and the American naval base in Bahrain were shot.
At Muwaffaq Al-Salti Air Base, the Jordanwas also the target of attacks, according to Iranian state media, as was an American base in the north of Iraq.
The extent of the damage is still being assessed: several missiles were fired at the UAE and intercepted. Some missile debris landed in a residential area and killed a civilian, according to the UAE’s official news agency.

The chief of staff of the Kuwaiti Armed Forces said in a statement that “air defense systems intercepted the incoming missiles.”
The Jordanian Armed Forces say their air defenses have successfully intercepted two ballistic missiles that were targeting the Kingdom.
