A small plane coming from Bolivia was seizedlast Saturday night (28), after making a forced landing in a farm area in the municipality of João Lisboa, in the southwest of Maranhãodue to the heavy rains that hit the region.

According to the PMMA (Military Police of the State of Maranhão), responsible for the seizure, the aircraft registered PT-KRE took off from the city of Trinidad, in the department of Beni, in Bolivia.
To the police, the two occupants reported that the initial plan was to land in the Pinheiro region, in Baixada Maranhense, before continuing on to São Luís.
