
Parked and without a driver, “an uncontrolled movement began” at Gare do Oriente. Cafe customers fled in time.
It was almost 3pm when Lisboa, more precisely in East Racesone bus which was parked and with no one inside… it began to circulate.
The scare happened in the region where dozens of buses end and start. This involved one from Rede Expressos.
The bus was stopped in its usual place, without a driver; but (apparently without the handbrake activated) it began to descend, took a taxi in front of him, a terrace and destroyed the window of an establishment.

No one was injured; the bus and taxi were empty, and the customers on the terrace managed to divert in time. No one was in the window, neither outside nor inside.
Police were at the scene and a security perimeter was established around the bus.
Rede Expressos has already opened a internal investigation to determine the cause of the incident.
In a clarification sent to , the company confirms that the bus was “parked and without a driver” and then “started an uncontrolled movement”.
