This Friday, Lula already has an agenda with ministers, where a review of 2024’s actions will be made and priorities for next year will be discussed.

After emergency surgery at Hospital Sírio-Libanês, in São Paulo, on the 10th, Lula had been recovering from a head bleed caused by a fall at Palácio da Alvorada two months ago. The examination carried out this Thursday was considered satisfactory by cardiologist Roberto Kalil, who assured that the president is able to resume his activities.

Since the operation to drain the hematoma, Lula has followed strict medical guidelines. According to Kalil, the hematoma was completely absorbed, and there are no signs of new bleeding. The president, however, must avoid physical exercise and will repeat the tests in 10 days for monitoring.

The health problem was identified last week, when Lula fell ill in Brasília and had to be transferred to São Paulo in the middle of the night. The procedure performed, embolization of the middle meningeal artery, was essential to prevent further bleeding in the future. Lula must remain in Brasília during the end of year festivities.
