Rayssa Leal qualifies for the final and will fight for the third time at the World Skateboarding Championship

Rayssa advanced with the second best score (142.52) – the first was from the Japanese Coco Yoshizawa (146.07).

The Maranhão Rayssa Leal, 18 years old, secured this Saturday (7) her qualification to the women’s street final of the World Skateboarding Championship, in São Paulo and came close to winning the title for the third time in his career – the first were in 2022 and 2024. Rayssa advanced with the second best score (142.52) – the first was from the Japanese Coco Yoshizawa (146.07).

The World Championship closes the 2025 season of the International Skate Federation (World Skate) and counts points towards the Olympic ranking for the 2028 Los Angeles Games.

The Brazilian will be the only representative of the country in the medal decision, which will bring together seven other competitors (four Japanese, two Chinese and one French). Compatriot Gabi Moreto he even competed in the semi-final, but finished in 12th place, with a score of 102.22 points. The women’s street final is scheduled for 11:15 am (Brasília time) this Sunday (8), at Parque Cândido Portinari, in the capital of São Paulo.

Before, at 8:40 am, there will be the resumption of the second heat of the men’s street semifinalsinterrupted due to strong winds this Saturday (7) in São Paulo.

Two Brazilians had a chance of advancing to the final before the interruption: Wallace Gabriel, who occupies second place with a score of 145.41 and Gabryel Aguilar, in seventh place with a score of 104.91. The other competitors in the country were outside the classification zone: Ivan Monteiro (51.48) and João Lucas (33.38).
