A price that “seems very exaggerated”: Lufthansa’s extra fee will be applied from the end of March. Will you have membership?
A Lufthansa, like other aviation companies, it has special places on their planes.
First class travel, or premiumin its Alegris project were recently by the German company.
The trips began in November and include two individual suites and the Suite Plus, “unique in the world”.
Whoever buys these special tickets is entitled to almost one meter wide seatsin the suite; he can warm up or cool the seat. These are new standards of comfort e individuality in the highest class, Lufthansa’s description continues.
But this, of course, has a price.
To access the Allegris Suite Plus, in addition to the ticket price – which depends on several factors, such as places of origin and departure, time, demand… – you must pay an extra fee that costs, at least, 1,900 euros. Just the fee.
A flight from Frankfurt to New York, within the Allegris Suite Plus package, will cost around 13 000 euros.
To reserve the new business class seat with extra privacy at the window, or to have an extra long bed, you pay more 100 euros.
A seat with extra space in business class will cost a fee 130 euros.
To enter the new business class suite with its own doors, the fee rises to at least 400 euros.
If you want more legroom in Lufthansa’s new economy class, you’ll have to pay more 50 euros.
The price list has already been published by the company and will be valid for flights from March 30, 2025.
