The president’s job Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) is frowned upon by 51% of Brazilians and approved by 43%second Ipsos-Ipec survey released this Wednesday (11). Others 6% they didn’t know or didn’t give an opinion.
Approval of Lula’s way of governing the country fluctuates from 42%registered in December, for 43% now in March. In the same period, disapproval fell from 52% to 51%.
For Márcia Cavallari, head of Ipsos-Ipec, the approval of President Lula’s form of government remains at a stable level, suggesting a crystallization of opinions. Disapproval remains consolidated above the 50% mark, indicating a divided country with a negative bias.
The survey interviewed 2,000 people between March 5th and 9th, in 131 municipalities. The margin of error is two percentage points, plus or minus, with a 95% confidence interval.
