Producer and humorist Oliver Andrásy once belonged to the main pillars of entertainment. Public television was interested in his services, and his doors were wide open in Markíz as well. Not even JOJka drove him away with his ideas. Then there was a turning point and the man who was behind legendary shows like Dereš, Aj múdry schybí and Čo pože ulica announced the end of his career. The advent of digital media and the bet on large licensed programs from abroad were no longer to his taste. Andrásy has thus been enjoying a well-deserved television and physical retirement for an incredible thirteen years. However, the past was remembered again.
Oliver shared the emotional moment on social media. “Imagine what jumped out at me out of nowhere on the Internet. The end of the New Year’s Eve program of RTVS from 2013. My final farewell to the stage. I was normally moved by it,” wrote an entertainer who, instead of racing in a highly competitive television environment and after the advent of podcasts and online platforms, prefers to enjoy the comfort of his loved ones, family and vacations, which he has been putting off all his life.
