The (Landless Rural Workers Movement) estimates that it mobilized 15 thousand people in 24 states in the recent Day of Struggle for Landless Women, which took place this March, dedicated to women.
The mobilization took place from March 8 to 12 and involved marches, blockades, acts and occupations, affecting 14 rural properties in Rio Grande do Sul, São Paulo, Espírito Santo, Goiás, Pernambuco, Piauí and Tocantins.
The focus of activities this year was the demand for and complaints against violence.
