Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva last week created two new types of quantifiers to identify price abuse
The general director of the National Agency for Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP), Artur Watt Neto, said this Tuesday (17) that notifications and registrations of gas stations have already started to identify possible abusive prices. ANP’s actions with the National Consumer Secretariat of the Ministry of Justice and Public Security (Senacon/MJSP) were carried out against 42 gas stations and a distributor.
At one of the posts, the team detected an undue increase of R$2 per liter of dieselaccording to details presented at a press conference held today. Parallelism was also identified with stations charging the same prices in the same municipalities and states.
The government of Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva last week created two new types of quantifiers to identify price abuse: when there is unjustifiable storage of fuel or when there is an excessive increase without technical justification. The Executive assesses that the unjustified increase in fuel prices affects the economic order and the fuel market.
