Zurich – FIFA’s disciplinary committee has punished the Israel Football Association (IFA) for “multiple violations” of its anti-discrimination obligations. As the world association announced on Thursday, the association must pay a fine of 150,000 Swiss francs (around 165,000 euros) and present a large banner with the words “Football unites the world – no to discrimination” at the next three home games in FIFA A competitions.
