The group, which brings together doctoral, master’s and bachelor’s degree researchers at the university, is coordinated by lawyer and professor Pierpaolo Bottini. It emerged in 2022 and has professionals from technical and legal areas involved in combating and preventing money laundering.
GELD is also responsible for projects such as the book “Criptoativos e Lavagem de Dinheiro”, published in 2023 by Editora Quartier Latin. He also promoted several legal events at the Largo de São Francisco Law School.
