Kiko Rivera revealed an unusual story involving Cristiano Ronaldo and an unexpected proposal linked to hair implants. The Spanish DJ said, in a recent interview, that he was contacted by the Portuguese international through former goalkeeper Beto, initially believing that the invitation would be to perform at a party.
The story was told on the Torreznos Podcast, and cited by , where Kiko Rivera recalled the moment he received the call from Beto. As he explained, the former Portuguese goalkeeper told him that he was with the Seleção and that Cristiano Ronaldo wanted to speak to him.
Faced with this contact, the Spanish artist admitted that he was excited. Kiko Rivera thought he could be about to receive an important professional invitation, capable of opening doors to a wider international market.
Invitation was not to act
Days later, he said, he received a message via WhatsApp. At the time, he believed even more in the possibility of performing at one of Cristiano Ronaldo’s parties, even imagining opportunities outside of Spain.
However, the intention was different. According to him, Cristiano Ronaldo wanted to convince him to put on hair, at a time when he was linked to a clinic in Madrid.
Kiko Rivera recounted the episode in a relaxed tone and said that he quickly realized that the contact had occurred because he was a public figure also known for his bald image.
“I asked him for a million euros”
The DJ assured, however, that he never had the desire to go ahead with hair implants. Even so, he shared the situation with his representative, who reportedly gave him some unexpected advice.
According to the report, the businessman suggested asking for one million euros. The answer, said Kiko Rivera, was negative, ending any chance of understanding between the parties.
The story was received with laughter on the podcast, but it also raised doubts regarding the chronology presented by the Spanish artist.
There are details in the story that don’t match up.
Some of the details mentioned by Kiko Rivera do not seem to match the trajectory of Cristiano Ronaldo and Beto. The Portuguese striker played for Juventus between 2018 and 2021, while Beto played for Sevilla between 2013 and 2016.
Furthermore, Beto’s last presence in the National Team took place in November 2018. At that time, Cristiano Ronaldo was not even part of Fernando Santos’ squad.
Despite this, Beto and Cristiano Ronaldo served Portugal several times throughout their respective careers. Still, the chronology of the story now told by Kiko Rivera raises doubts and leaves it unclear whether the events occurred exactly as they were reported.
The episode, nevertheless, is attracting attention in Spain and once again places Cristiano Ronaldo at the center of a story outside the four lines, this time linked to the universe of personal image and the caricatured account of a Spanish celebrity.
